The Best of Brad Pitt.

#1 Se7en (Movie Score 72.72)....the first time Pitt worked with David Fincher...the ending is unforgettable ....Kevin Spacey is a standout

#2 Ocean's Eleven (Movie Score 72.65)....Pitt and an all-star cast make a movie better than the original movie made by Frank Sinatra

#3 Interview with a Vampire (Movie Score 68.82 ) .... shares screen with fellow vampire Tom Cruise but Kirsten Dunst steals the movie as Claudia

#4 Inglourious Basterds (Movie Score 67.93)....2nd time he worked with a Tarantino script ...the first was True Romance ...he had small but funny part as Floyd the roommate

#5 The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons (Movie Score 67.72)...earned Pitt his first Best Actor nomination

#6 Mr. & Mrs. Smith (Movie Score 66.17).... huge hit, but the behind the scences stuff is what people will remember

#7 12 Monkeys (Movie Score 65.61).....my favorite Brad Pitt movie, he won a Golden Globe for this role, and got a Best Supporting Actor nomination as well

#8 MegaMind (Movie Score 63.31)....provides a voice in this computer animated movie

#9 Troy (Movie Score 61.35)....not as good as it should have been ...but his main scene with Peter O'Toole is pretty strong

#10 Legends of the Fall (Movie Score 59.14)....the movie lots of women fell in love with him..

While struggling as a young actor Brad Pitt worked as a chauffeur and played the El Pollo Loco chicken. So that is the path to Angelina Jolie's heart.

So what the heck are Movie Scores?

There are all kinds of ways to determine if you want to see or skip a movie. You can depend on your favorite critic. My favorites are Roger Ebert and Leonard Maltin. You might go to Rotten Tomatoes to get the consensus of all the critics. You might watch the viewer ratings at Yahoo Movies and IMDB. You might depend on which movies are doing the best at the box office. You might wait for the end of the year awards. Movie Score takes all of these options and creates a mathematical equation that generates a score from 1 to 100. The higher the score the better the movie. .

Oceans 11 and Mr. and Mrs. Smith did very well at the box office and they were good movies. Adam Sandler is not one of my favorite stars so do not watch his movies. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK - VERY INFORMATIVE...

Yep when I saw the rankings the first time I was shocked how low Fight Club was...but I realized that the box office numbers were so low and thus the score came out so low...thanks for reading

I like Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Although it's a rehash, they made it as if they're the original actors on the film.

KellyE...I agree there are some pretty disgusting parts in Fight Club....the bag of fat....comes up pretty quickly in my mind

Ddraigcoch.....well Mr. Pitt like all of us is getting older everyday

Travel_man....I think in time we will only remember the movie as....the one were they meet and broke up Pitts marriage to Jennifer Aniston

Not really a fan of Mr Jolie (I mean Pitt). Don't understand the big deal with him. He was alright in the Oceans movies but the other actors really carried the flicks. Fantastic hub cogerson!!!

Hey Sunshine....wow this is one of my oldest hubs....and one I have paid very little attention to....he actually had a movie called Tree of Life open during the summer...and this weekend he has another one called Moneyball....time to do a facelift and update. As for his career...he is still going strong as he approaches the big 50. Sorry he is not one of your favorites...but I greatly appreciate the support of reading my hub.

Well, Cogerson, since you shared this today, I'll comment even though I'm not a fan.

I have seen three of his movies: Thelma and Louise, A River Runs Through It, and Burn After Reading. None of these I watched because I was interested in Pitt.

One of his films is on my to be seen list, however: Inglorious Bastards.

Interesting hub, Cogerson. I've never really counted Brad Pitt as one of my favorite actors, but he has been in some really good movies--A River Runs Through It, Inglourious Basterds, Ocean's 11, Thelma and Louise for example. I thought his role in Burn After Reading was hilarious, and I'm looking forward to seeing The Tree of Life when it comes out on DVD. Maybe it's just because I don't really care for Angelina Jolie that I'm not head over heels crazy about him, even if he's a decent actor.

Hi Mr movies, well Brad seems to be getting a cool reception and that sums up my reaction to him. That Ben' button movie is one of the most pathetic movies ever made, i was bored ---less from beginning to two thirds through when i switched it off. I can't believe that it got nominated for an oscar. Legends of the fall annoyed the crapola out of me too, just miles too smultchy for my liking. I thought Babel was pretty good, fight club too. I think Oceans 11,12 and thirteen, and troy were better suited to Brad, as he's no Marlon Brando. He has done well in a few movies like the devil's own, seven years in Tibet, a river runs through it, twelve monkeys and of course his brilliant cameo in Thelma and Louise. I didn't like the outlaw Jessie James but i suspect that the director was more to blame than Brad. He's a good actor, but not a great one. Cheers though.

Brad Pitt...Poor guy took such a beating when he left Jen for Angie...I don't get it. This goes on in Hollywood every hour of every day. Sure, it's sad, but I just don't understand why so hard on Brad? I like him and his movies....especially "Oceans..." Your hub has prompted me to go out and rent some of his best and see them again. Your hubs are always awesome, Cogerson!

Thanks for writing this Hub. Pitt has a big presence in the film industry however the general public doesn't attribute his success to talent. But you know the old saying "Can't make it on looks alone." Up and awsome.

Hey Flora thanks for checking out my ignored Brad Pitt movie hub....I got a comment on the Pitt hub yesterday from Sunshine625....I realized not only did Brad Pitt have a movie out this weekend....but I completely ignored his last release ...The Tree of Life...so this morning I woke up determined to give Brad some attention.

He has some good movies....my favorite of his is Twelve Monkeys...I think it is one of the best science fiction movies out there....or maybe it is about a guy with some serious issues...of the ones you have seen....I have yet to see A River Runs Through It....but I always wanted to.....since a read the novel many moons ago...I appreciate you stopping by.

Hey Painted Seahorse.....well I think he is becoming a better actor as he is getting older....The Tree of Life looks like it could be absolutely fascination or a complete bore.....but I will be checking that one out as soon as it hits DVD land. I think all the publicity he gets on a regular basis people get a little tired of him...but he keeps producing quality movie after quality movie.

I appreciate the comments attempted humour...it sounds like Pitt runs 50/50 with you....50% good movies and 50% horrible movies. Hey Frannie Dee...good points on Mr. Pitt....I think as Pitt gets older and starts to lose some of his drop dead looks...people will appreciate his talents....I think he has a great chance to win that first Oscar this year for Moneyball....thanks for the compliment and the comment.

I liked troy. The basic theme was that people in positions of power, kings, princes, generals, do want they want with no regard for the people under them who will suffer and die because of their actions.

I would have like twelve monkeys better if the bruce willis charactor was introduced in the nut house at the begining. Since you saw him in the future it ruined the mystery of was he telling the truth or was he insane.

Legends of the Fall seemed like a made for T.V. epic. One of those shows like shogun or captains and the kings. I kept expecting Jane Seymour or Richard Chamberlain to make an appearance. It is one of my favorite pitt movies but I noticed every nice person died.

Personally I enjoyed Fight Club. I also liked Inglorious Basterds. While watching the movie within the movie with the German sniper killing american soldiers I realized We, i.e. americans, make movies showing our war heroes killing german or japanese soldiers. I wonder how those movies are recieved in germany?

This is one of my favorite hubs.

Hey ruffridyer...interesting take on Troy and Twelve Monkeys...As for the beginning of Twelve Monkeys...the opening could be Bruce just being completely doped up and imaging the whole deserted city....the fact that 12 Monkeys has so many different angles...makes it a great movie....you can watch it going it is a science fiction movie...or you can watch as a study on a completely crazy mental patient.

Legends of the Fall....funny points.....I always thought it was like a shampoo commercial...for Brad and his very pretty hair.

I think the movies are one of the reason...the rest of world thinks that Americans are gun toting killing machines....since every one of our movie seems to have guns and killing.....thanks for the compliments...and as always thanks for the great comments.
